Your Travel Partner

Mon Voyage Asie (Pvt) Ltd is a registered company in Sri Lanka which is managed by a director board and provides services of planning, execution, and organization of tours carried out on behalf of guests and other travel partners. The phrase “MVA” in this Booking Terms and Conditions refers to Mon Voyage Asie (Pvt) Ltd.

Confirmation of Booking

Your booking is confirmed and a contract exists when the MVA issues a written confirmation after receipt of the applicable deposit amount. Please check your confirmation carefully and report any incorrect or incomplete information to the Tour Operator immediately. Please ensure that names are exactly as stated in the relevant passport.

In the case of all bookings, including tailor-made tours, your booking will be confirmed by 50% upfront advance. A Confirmation Invoice and Travel Voucher will be sent when all reservations have been made with full payment to be paid 7 days prior to arrival. Payment of the deposit confirms that you accept our booking conditions.

  • Initial Payment is required at the time of booking.
  • The Client must pay all bank charges in the case of a bank transfer.
  • There will be no additional postage fees, booking fees, or other hidden charges. Exchange rates are based on Central Bank of Sri Lanka at time of booking and are not subject to change.

Cancellations

a) Cancellation by MVA

MVA is committed to high levels of professionalism to protect your booking. But we reserve the right to cancel your booking in any incidence of Force Majeure. In this event, we will return all money paid by you and, wherever possible, offer an alternative booking of comparable type and quality for your consideration. We cannot be held liable for any incidental expenses that you may incur during arrangements for a booking that is subsequently cancelled by us.

b) Cancellation by Client (You)

You may cancel your booking by notifying the Tour Consultant. Cancellation fees, if any, will be determined with reference to the date on which notice of cancellation is received by the Tour Consultant and are expressed as a percentage of the total price paid for the cancelled Tour.

  • If Cancellation received 60 days or more before arrival: 100% refund of the payments made.
  • If Cancellation received between 30-59 days before arrival: 95% refund of the payments made.
  • If Cancellation received less than 30 days before arrival: 90% refund of the payments made.
  • If Cancellation received 7 days or less before arrival: Non-refundable.

Any individual who intends to cancel a booking must notify their respective Tour Consultant by email. In the event of a group cancellation, we will hold each individual equally liable for cancellation costs.

Personal Safety

Your personal safety is our prime concern. If a particular advisory instructs against travel to any country or region stated on your itinerary, we will guarantee the following refunds in the event of a cancellation by you.

  • 30 days or more before the date of your first booking: minimum 90% refund.
  • Within 30 days of your first booking and during your holiday: all recoverable costs.

Change in Itineraries

a) Itinerary Changes Made by MVA

MVA is committed to high levels of professionalism to protect your booking. Adjustments will only be made in unavoidable circumstances. All efforts will be made to ensure that these adjustments are in the spirit of the original itinerary and properly discussed with you.

b) Itinerary Changes Requested by Client (You)

MVA always tries to offer itineraries that are easy to change. Once an itinerary is set, requests to change it will be considered, with extra costs where applicable.

Customer Care and Complaints Procedure

MVA is committed to high levels of customer care at all stages of your holiday. Any complaints must be pursued as soon as possible with the supplier of the service (e.g., hotel manager), our ground representatives, and agents. If matters are not satisfactorily resolved, you must notify MVA within 24 hours via email.

Force Majeure

The Tour Operator will not be liable for any incidents caused by natural disasters, wars, terrorist activities, or other unforeseen events beyond their control. This includes delays, damage, or financial costs incurred due to such events.

Insurance

Every holidaymaker must possess valid travel insurance. Individuals must ensure that this insurance offers acceptable cover for the type of holiday undertaken.

Required Medical Information

You are responsible for assessing whether a tour is suitable for you. You should consult your physician to confirm your fitness for travel and participation in any planned activities. The Tour Operator does not provide medical advice.

Age & Fitness

We aim to ensure that everyone in your booking party enjoys the holiday. Any persons with pre-existing medical conditions or those over 70 may require additional information or a signed letter from their doctor confirming their ability to undertake the tour.

Personal Loss, Injury, and Illness

In case of loss, illness, or injury during your holiday, MVA will provide sympathetic advice and guidance, but it must be done in conjunction with your personal travel insurance policy.

Guarantee of Price

We guarantee that your holiday will not be subjected to surcharges, except where our costs rise due to changes in government policy.

Accommodation

MVA guarantees agreed accommodation for the selected tour package. Once confirmed, no changes can be made to the hotel reservations before or after arrival, unless agreed to by MVA.

Shopping

MVA does not guarantee the value or quality of any additional products purchased during the tour. It is the client's responsibility to assess the value of any product they may purchase.
